2020 Software Engineers’ nuggets
Before the year ends I will want to write on something beyond the technologies, frameworks, programming languages, libraries and the likes.
This year hasn’t been an easy one. The disappointments, the pain, the layoffs, the quarantines, loss of lives and many more.
There has been a lot to learn through all these. If you haven’t learnt anything at all, you learnt to stay afloat in the mist of the storm.
You were able to survive this great pandemic that took millions of lives; hence you being able read this article.
Briefly, I will share these nuggets as we gradually say a good bye to the year 2020
1. Great communication skills really matters so let it be part of your everyday life.
2. Never stop learning, especially for us Software Engineers and always stay on top of your game
3. Have a life outside of programming. I learnt this; you don’t want to spend your last days regretting the things that you could have done that you never did.
